How it works
From valuation to sold
Selling a bike privately means adverts, time-wasters and strangers asking for test rides. Selling to us takes days, and there are no fees at any stage.
1. Get your free valuation
Fill in the valuation form, call free on 0800 206 2208, or send the registration, mileage and a few photos on WhatsApp. Tell us about any extras, such as luggage, crash protection or an aftermarket exhaust, and any service history. The more honest detail you give us, the more accurate your offer.
2. Your price is held for 7 days
We come back with an offer and hold it for seven days, so there is no pressure to accept on the spot.
3. Paid the same day, before we collect
Once you are happy, we agree a time. We check the bike matches the description and the paperwork is in order, and pay you by bank transfer before the bike is loaded. No admin, BACS or transfer fees are deducted.
4. Free collection
We collect from your home, workplace, garage, shed or storage unit, in a van fitted with proper bike restraints. Non-runners are no problem.
What you will need
- The V5C logbook, or the import paperwork for an imported bike
- Photo ID such as a driving licence or passport
- All keys, plus any service history, MOT certificates and receipts
- If there is outstanding finance, the settlement figure from your lender
- If you want to keep a private plate, tell us before the sale
